Block Reference File

The blocks correspond to a division of the City into about 400 blocks, set up by the City Planner in about 1970. The purpose of these geographic descriptions was to enable more rapid tallying of information by subareas of the City. The geographic subdivision keys would provide easier selection of which properties to include in a run for a report without having to rely on property folio designations which are subject to change, consolidation and subdivision.
